— How our Community Lends Itself to Learning
Enrolling in a private microschool, can be an excellent choice for families seeking a personalized and tailored education experience for their child. Unlike traditional schools, microschools, such as ours, are small learning communities with a limited number of students, allowing for more individualized attention and customized curriculum. One of the key advantages of enrolling in a microschool is the close-knit community it offers. With a smaller student body and often a multi-age classroom setup, students get to know their peers and teachers on a deeper level, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. This tight-knit community also promotes social-emotional growth and encourages students to voice their opinions and engage in critical thinking. Microschools also provide flexibility in their curriculum, allowing students to explore their interests and passions more comprehensively.
With our Exploratory Classes, students often have a say in what they learn and how they learn it, fostering a sense of ownership and motivation. This personalized approach helps students develop a deeper understanding of subjects and cultivates a lifelong love for learning. Furthermore, we leverage technology to enhance learning experiences. This may incorporate online resources, virtual field trips, and digital tools to supplement in-person instruction, expanding the learning possibilities beyond the classroom walls. This integration of technology prepares students for the digital world and equips them with essential skills for the future.
Lastly, we provide a safe and inclusive learning environment. With smaller class sizes, teachers can better address individual needs and ensure that every student feels seen, heard, and supported. Additionally, microschools often prioritize diversity and inclusion, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.
Depending on the instructional level we use Rime Magic, Heggerty, Secret Stories, and Ready Reading, Ready Math, Illustrative Math, Math Mammoth, Argo Prep, McGrawhill, Study.com along with Teacher Created Resources.
